**Summary**
Entravision Communications Corporation, a diversified global marketing, technology, and media company serving clients throughout the United States and in more than 20 countries across Latin America, Europe, and Asia, has an open SOX Compliance Manager position in its SOX Compliance group based in Santa Monica, California. The Manager assumes a key leadership role in overseeing the company’s global compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and adherence to the company’s policies and procedures.
**Essential Functions**
1. Assist with SOX strategy using the provisions in PCAOB AS 5 (mainly a top-down, risk based approach).
2. Perform testing of operating effectiveness of key internal controls over financial reporting.
3. Assist management with the maintaining of control documentation (including narratives).
4. Assist with preparation SOX compliance status reporting, including write-up of deficiencies.
5. Assist with research in planning for any new financial reporting requirements or system implementations, as necessary.
6. Support post-merger integration of accounting/financial reporting processes and assist with integration of other functions, as necessary, as they relate to SOX Compliance.
7. Assist with other compliance related projects and priorities, as necessary.
8. Communicate effectively and respectfully with internal stakeholders.

**Supervisory Responsibility**
Reports directly to Manager SOX Compliance
**REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS**
1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
2. CPA, CIA or equivalent professional designation preferred (in process acceptable).
3. 2+ years relevant accounting/audit experience.
4. Experience utilizing finance/accounting systems, Oracle (NetSuite) preferred.
5. Strong Excel skills and proficient with PowerPoint and other MS tools.
6. Experience with SOXHUB is preferred.
**REQUIRED SKILLS**
1. Effective communication and interpersonal (verbal and written).
2. English Fluency; Spanish fluency is a plus.
3. Works well with others as a team player, and can work independently.
4. Takes responsibility of assigned tasks.
5. Proactive and results oriented.
6. Ability to identify continuous improvement measures to optimize team’s performance.
7. Analytical, thoughtful, organized and willing to adapt as necessary.
8. Able and willing to travel between 10 to 20%, mainly internationally (post COVID-19).
**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work**
This is a non-remote full-time position, Monday through Friday. Actual hours and schedule may vary.
