**Job Description**:

- Manage general accounting functions; scope of management includes monthly accounting closing of the transactions for the relevant areas of responsibility, in compliance with financial SOX controls.
- Deliver timely and accurate analysis of financial results and position for your areas of responsibility, including the preparation of a monthly financial reporting package comparing current period results and financial position to prior period comparatives and position, explaining key variations.
- Manage internal and external audits and reviews, as well as any ad-hoc regulatory or compliance requirements.
- Proactively identify of areas of risk in financial reporting, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Use your experience and expertise to develop best practices in all areas of finance and accounting
- Provide expertise in creating systems and processes to adhere to US GAAP and Sox requirements
- Partner with operational leaders and corporate strategy team on annual budgeting

**Qualifications**:

- Advanced 4th year accounting student or recent Accounting graduate
- Strong English proficiency (oral and written) and experience working in a bilingual work environment
- Strong skill set in Microsoft Office package preferred (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional groups, providing them guidance and support.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills are required as well as close attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure and tight timelines.
- Organize and manage priorities effectively, while operating independently
