IT Technical Project Manager

**Main Purpose**:

- Participate in strategic planning discussions with technical and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate on architect and design solutions and guide teams to implement the solution as per the architecture and design.
- Understand the various lifecycles like Implementation, Upgrade, Maintenance and Support engagements
- Identify gaps in technical design, functional requirements, in the team members and work towards closing those gaps to ensure high quality software is delivered to meet business goals.
- Help implement a continuous learning culture within the vendor teams to build their capability the sub-system(s) he or she is leading

**Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities**:
Knowledge and Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
- Understanding of Oracle product development cycle, Oracle security, Oracle Instance strategy, On-premise ERP, Oracle Cloud ERP, EPM is a must.
- Expertise in Oracle OIC and VBCS and have extensively worked on minimum 3-4 Technology Adapters like File, Database, Oracle ERP & FTP adapter, connectivity agents.
- Have worked on BIP reports and have good working knowledge of ERP API, FBDI and ability to use SOAP/ REST APIS for Fusion Integrations.
- Excellent skill in Web Service technologies such as XML, XPath, XSLT, SOAP, WSDL, and XSD.
- Understanding of principals of cloud-based platforms including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
- Understanding of Data migration concepts along with Oracle tools for FBDI, ADFDi
- Should be able to work independently and ensure quality deliverables.
- Should be able to manage quality assurance test cycles and manage testing, defect resolution processes.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience with developing end-to-end and troubleshooting complex systems with a multi-national or complex technology driven company.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with outsourced vendor partners is BIG plus.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify problems, provide solutions and resolution.
- Ensure completion of tasks, milestones, and components including Technical design specifications, implementations.
- Exposure to knowledge of General Ledger (GL), Account Payables (AP), Account Receivables (AR), Fixed Assets (FA) & Procurement modules, nice to have.
- Responsibility for taking full ownership of any issues reported by business users till complete resolution even if needs to be engaging different teams for resolution.
- Must be able to speak fluently in English
- Strong oral and written communications with strong inter-personal skills to collaborate with vendor teams and global IT owners with attention to micro level details.
- Detail-oriented self-starter, an exceptional listener, and a skilled communicator (both verbal and written).
- Analytical, critical thinker, and problem solver with the ability to think through process challenges and develop effective improvements
- Enjoy working within a constantly changing and demanding environment, while project managing and prioritizing multiple tasks at one time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate as a delivery partner in the 3-in-box operating model and partner with global techno-functional stakeholders and vendor technical teams to deliver strategic business objectives
- Support, and collaborate with the vendor developers for the assigned work stream.

**Key Relationships and Department Overview**:

- The key relationships of the role will be with regional and global IT Teams as well as business stakeholder from Accounting, Treasury and Finance Departments.
- Trafigura’s IT LATAM team overseas regional and Global systems implementation, collaborating with IT strategic initiatives across the company aimed to implement a next-generation, end-to-end landscape of business processes and trading systems for the main company business lines.
- We support the entire software development lifecycle from project initiation to BAU following industry standards and best practices.
