**About the position**:
We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of FINANCE ANALYST to join our team:
**Location**: Home Office / Montevideo.
**Work schedule**: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
**Contract Type**: Open-ended.

**Job Purpose**:
Key member of the Finance team, for providing support and guidance to the team to help drive financial functions including funding, payments and reporting and document management. Focused on ensuring the cohesive management of processes in Uruguay (plus Chile And Brazil), working extensively with Engineering, Sourcing and Operational teams to ensure contract guidelines are followed.

The Finance Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger and must be able to interact effectively with both the internal and external client teams on a daily basis. This individual is responsible for the books and records under the direction of the Finance Manager and is responsible for gaining a thorough understanding of client activities, needs, and programs in order to deliver high quality financial services.
He/she will be responsible for oversight of all accounting activities ensuring compliance with established systems and controls, maintenance of accurate records and adherence to policies and procedures; interfacing and communicating regularly with the Finance and Account Manager for reviewing reports, forecasting, goal setting, and financial planning aligned with strategic objectives.

He/she will oversee 3 portfolio countries (Uruguay / Chile / Brazil), and will report to a regional hub located in Buenos Aires

Excellent communication skills will be necessary to ensure client needs are received and translated into prompt action, providing timely, accurate, and relevant information in response to recurring or special information requests.

**Responsibilities**:
Execution
- Invoicing Circuit
- Invoice issue revision
- Invoice following up to client reception
- Collections verification
- To report delays in collection to the Finance Manager
- Funding Report

Financials
- To ensure payment of Corporate Invoices due to client Operation
- Control of differences among budget.
- Support for Corporate budget / Forecast for the account.
- Tracking of actuals vs budget inside the account
- Checking of Invoicing and differences in P&L for the account
- Ad hoc reports for corporate team
- Bank Accounts control

Accounting Duties
- P&L closing.
- Account analysis.
- Issue and review of financial standard reports.
- Input control for the different central costs.

**Requirements**:
Accountant or Business Administration degree with a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
Strong accounting and analytical skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
**English**: Intermediate level
Experience of JDE would be an advantage or another sofware.
Work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners.
Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure, and effectively prioritize and manage time and workload to meet client needs.
Willingness to take on new challenges, responsibilities, and assignments.

**Portuguese**: not mandatory but it is a plus.
