Team Description

As SRE Teams we improve the reliability of several high-scale security systems through automation, continuous integration, and delivery.

Role and Responsibilities

What will you achieve?

As a Technical Product Manager, you will be supporting three SRE Teams to keep the availability, reliability, and scalability of large-scale security systems. You will be working in collaboration with multiple teams to take the next generation of Sabre products to the cloud. TPMs are the vital link between Product Management and Development. We actively propose the best solutions and translate business needs into stories for the Scrum Teams. Our main task is to provide functional expertise to all stakeholders to achieve product delivery. You will get the unique opportunity to gain experience in working with an agile team, understanding Scrum, understanding enterprise problems and goals, analyzing needs and solutions, driving change, and facilitating stakeholder collaboration.

As a TPM you will:

- Interface with internal stakeholders to discuss requirements, configurations, modifications
- Analyze and document team features, user stories, and tasks
- Collaborate primarily with Delivery Managers, Product Managers, and other TPMs
- Work together with architects and software engineers to understand the technical side
- Plan, implement, and maintain roadmap strategy and scheduling
- Provide acceptance/sign-off of user stories
- Organize and facilitate backlog refinement sessions

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Software engineering background with a minimum of 4 years of experience
- Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair systems-related problems

Nice To Have Skills:

- Good self-organization skills and initiative
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
- General experience with distributed architecture and/or high availability systems.
- Java - backend (SOAP, REST)
- CI&CD (TeamCity, Maven, GIT)
- Scripting skills (e.g., bash)
- Cloud technologies (GCP, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- NoSQL databases such as Couchbase
- LDAP administration skills
- Experience with SSO solutions (OpenAM)
