About the Team:
As a Product Manager, you will be part of a high-performing agile team that works on U.S. and Canadian tax compliance and reporting. This includes complex Canada tax calculations, the generation of tax-related forms and electronic files to report wages and taxes for employees and employers, and standard reports for payroll reconciliation.
About the Role:

- Research and quickly understand customer needs, regulatory requirements, technical functionality, and payroll calculations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in Support and Services and with developers and QA engineers to design software features and enhancements.
- Write clear and actionable requirements (user stories, use case scenarios, and acceptance criteria) to help focus the team on solving the right problems.
- Facilitate meetings that help the team understand the customer, the problem we are trying to solve, and the success criteria for the solution.
- Think imaginatively and intuitively while quickly grasping and synthesizing new information and reacting to rapidly changing situations.
- Ensure that projects remain on-track and in-scope, communicate project status, and escalate potential problems proactively and professionally.
- Work closely with Delivery Assurance to ensure that your features are ready for release, including the proper planning and coordination with the Learning and Marketing teams.
- Help establish and improve processes and standards for how we work.
- Be obsessed with delivering value to customers.

**Qualifications**:
About You:
Basic Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Product Manager in an agile software development environment is highly desired.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a business or technology-related field, preferred.
- Strong analytical skills to research and understand complex business problems and write detailed level requirements and acceptance criteria.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Payroll and/or tax experience
- Detail-oriented with high organizational skills to work independently or within a team to balance multiple priorities and overlapping tasks.
- Equal proficiency in presenting ideas and details clearly through verbal presentations and technical documentation.
- SQL knowledge
- Training experience is a plus.
