**Technical Career Track**

In this role, the Senior Technical Professional will be expected to:

- Carry out significant and varied engineering assignments requiring general familiarity with a broad field of engineering and knowledge of reciprocal effects of the work upon other fields.
- Advise colleagues and other department on technical issues & problems based on in-depth knowledge of product.
- Participate in proposal activities by compiling cost estimate and reviewing project proposal.
- Ensure project expenditures are within budget and discuss critical project changes or modifications with management.
- Lead and provide project team with guidance and technical expertise.
- Recommend development/training program required to enhance skill set of work team members.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Use skills as an experienced professional with full understanding of company policies and procedures to work on problems and customer requirements of diverse scope where data analysis requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
- Contribute to the technical direction of a solution and the production of the technical documentation for proposals.
- Participate in code reviews, identifying risks.
- Resolve technical problems escalated from less experienced team members and make recommendations.
- Complete tasks within budget and more complex timing issues, and lead small or medium sized projects.
- Coordinate analysis, design, implementation, testing across a multi-disciplinary group of engineers.

Qualifications:
Technical Business Analyst

General Description:
Under general supervision, provides technical support working with internal teams and airline customers during project implementations. Works in a team environment with the delivery Business SMEs, development, sales, and customer support teams. Self-motivated and takes ownership of problem resolution activities.

Job Requirements:
Gather and Document customer technical requirements.

Work directly with customer technical staff.

Proficient in SQL queries and stored procedures.

Comfortable with working in Unix/Linux environment and oracle database (Knowledge of scripting language like python, R, Linux shell, windows power shell, etc., is added advantage).

Proficient in Autosys or similar job scheduler tools (commands, jobs, batch status etc.,)

Basic understanding of networks, Cloud computing (Knowledge of AWS services is added advantage).

Comfortable working with APIs (preferably REST, JASON).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with focus on reducing implementation time through automation/process improvements.

Good understanding of software change management process.

Should be able to prepare Business Requirement Document (BRD) and Technical Requirement document (TRD).

Actively participate in SCCB (Software change control board) meetings and drive the changes.

Basic understanding of Agile framework and CRM (knowledge of tools like JIRA, RALLY, Sales force is added advantage).

Should collaborate with business SMEs and work directly with customers to successfully conduct product health checks and technical assessment activities.

Excellent ownership skills. Should be able to collaborate with stake holders (internal and external) across the globe to ensure successful completion of projects.

Should be ready to travel average 25% of the time.

Supports the testing process during the development phase of new product generation.

Ability to perform business and technical end user training during project implementations.

Lead cross functional-team discussions regarding problem resolution.

Excellent Communication skills, written and oral.

Deliver technical service offerings to customers.

Conduct assessment activities.

Ability to assess work requirements and time to complete a task.

Excellent time management.

Prioritize and self-manage technical role expectations and goals
