**About the team**

The payroll team is responsible for tracking and managing our company’s payroll data ensuring that all payroll procedures are in line with governmental laws and policies.

The team is always learning and trying to push the limits, relying in part on the large diversity of people’s profiles and backgrounds.

**About the position**

As the Payroll analyst you are responsible for timely and accurate payroll processing, according to local laws and regulations.

The role is also a link between the HR, and finance departments and ensures that the payroll function is coordinated across the whole organization.

**Location**

The preferred location is Montevideo.

**Responsibilities**
- Collect and review the payroll inputs, and communicate them to payroll advisor (new hires, holidays, sick leave, licenses, salary changes, etc)
- Reconcile and validate payroll reports to ensure accuracy prior to transmission for payment
- Ensure all payroll query responses and dealt with in a timely manner
- Complete monthly and yearly payroll and employment audit/reports as needed
- Monitor and implement statutory updates for regulations relating to payroll and time tracking
- Ensure compliance with governmental laws on payroll accounting and taxes
- Work closely with Finance and HR

**About you**

**Experience**
- Degree in Business Administration, Accountant or similar
- 3+ years of experience in Payroll

**Skills**
- Advanced knowledge in local laws and regulations
- Capacity to learn continuously and passion for pushing the limits.
- Advanced English proficiency levels.
- Excellent customer service skills are required.
- Attention to detail, well-developed written and verbal communication skills, ability to take initiative, as well as excel management and prioritization abilities is required
