QA Lead

As a QA Lead you will be responsible for all QA processes, methodologies, and test strategy improvements including resource planning, hiring, and performance review. Also you will oversee the activity of the quality assurance department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organizations products and/or development processes.

Our primary focus is the design and development of cloud-connected web and mobile products, and we collaborate closely with our clients and partners.
Our approach is flexible and closely aligned with the goals of the customer. Our clients and partners have direct access to our leadership team, plus a designated Technical Manager who is responsible for making sure we thoroughly understand client expectations and deliver against them.
We’re a global team that’s tightly knit and passionate about learning and creating innovative digital products for our clients. Our purpose and values drive our company, and we make sure our clients feel they're working with their own in-house team.
**What are the general responsibilities of the position?**
- Establish, maintain, and oversee all aspects of QA processes and methodologies to ensure effectiveness and alignment to industry best practices
- Prepare, review, and maintain testing documents (test plan, test cases, test reports,) to ensure complete test coverage
- Manage proper execution by the QA team on different types of testing (functional, integration, end-to-end, performance, etc)
- Perform QA testing activities as required
- Efficient management of QA resources across multiple projects
- Manage risks and deliverables to ensure that the testing activities remain within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards
- Work with project manager and development team to report and escalate relevant testing issues and challenges that arise during testing activities
- Identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommends and facilitates solutions to these issues.
- Reviews client, customer, and user feedback.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience in people management or leading a team
- Solid experience in Agile testing methodologies and best practices.
- Expert knowledge of software testing, quality improvement, quality process, quality assurance methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience and good understanding of automation testing and frameworks
- Software Testing or Quality related certification is a plus
