We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Valuation Specialist to join our team. As a remote Contract/Consultant, you will work closely with our Valuation Department to collect, analyze, and report market data related to commercial and residential appraisals, BPOs, AVMs, and internal QC reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on local real estate markets to identify and confirm sales and rental data.
- Assist appraisers with completing valuation assignments, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Review inspection reports to ensure compliance with established standards and goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Valuation department regarding report issues and missing documentation.
- Manage a team of assistants to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Identify, report, and resolve critical issues in a timely manner.
- Meet critical deadlines and maintain adherence to production and quality standards.
- Review internal and external valuations of small to medium-sized businesses across the US.
- Develop internal valuations on small to medium-sized businesses throughout the US.
- Assist analysts with completing valuation assignments.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Excellent English language skills, with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience in real estate appraisals, real estate, or banking.
- Undergraduate degree (four-year college or technical school), or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in an applicable risk management or valuation environment.
- Registered and Sworn Valuer for at least 10 years.
- Experience with Costar strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint required; Teams experience preferred.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Proactive approach and strong work ethic.
- Excellent attention to detail.
