Responsibilities of the Role:

As a member of our crew management implementation team, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing and resolving intricate business challenges through automated systems across various functions and domains within the aviation sector. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Installing software, facilitating data migration, and configuring integrations.
  • Developing Business Plans and supporting documentation to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and integration with technical initiatives.
  • Engaging in high-impact projects that significantly affect customer operations while working with minimal supervision.
  • Addressing complex business issues using diverse technologies and perspectives across multiple functional areas.
  • Strategically planning for current and future business landscapes, including technology advancements and design modifications to develop adaptable solutions.
  • Offering functional and technical support in identifying, assessing, and developing cost-effective systems and procedures that meet user needs.
  • Acting as the primary liaison between developers, architects, designers, and both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assisting development teams with functionality inquiries, testing challenges, training on new products, and all aspects of service or product deployment.
  • Mentoring less experienced business systems analysts.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3 to 20+ years of relevant experience.
  • Expertise in Crew Planning, Scheduling, Tracking, and Crew Regulations is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++.
  • Practical experience in automating manual processes using the aforementioned programming languages or through macros.
  • Hands-on experience with the installation and configuration of enterprise applications on AWS.
  • Database experience with Oracle or MongoDB.
  • Proficient in writing database queries using SQL or PL/SQL.
  • Familiarity with integration technologies such as SOAP, XML, JSON, and Postman.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (macro writing is advantageous) and PowerPoint.
  • Direct experience in the Crew Management domain, including scheduling, training, tracking, or comprehensive implementation of crew management systems is a plus.
  • Advanced software skills.
  • Understanding of client-server architectures and integration with legacy systems.
  • Strong knowledge in airline crew scheduling, flight crew planning, or flight operations is preferred.
