Description:
UKG is seeking an Associate Software QA Engineer to join our Employee Voice Team in Montevideo. We are a highly collaborative group of professional Software Engineers working in an Agile environment.
In support of our culture, we are adopting a hybrid working model of 2-3 days per week in the office and the rest of the week from home. The UKG office location that this position is connected to is Montevideo, UY.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review and analyze system specifications
- Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
- Decompose requirements and user scenarios into test scenarios and test cases
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
- Evaluate product code according to specifications
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects
- Report bugs and errors to development teams
- Help troubleshoot issues
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
- Contribute to estimation of work and create test plan that aligns with project deliverables
- Identify test data requirements and generate data sets for testing

**Qualifications**:
Qualifications:

- Degree or studies related to QA engineering desired.
- Knowledge on writing simple and complex functional test cases.
- Knowledge on software development testing methodologies (Whitebox /Blackbox testing).
- Experience documenting test efforts and communicating results to both a technical and non-technical audience.
- Self-motivated, positive team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills with US-based teams.
