Position Summary
The IT Field Services Project Estimator and Client Support role is responsible for collaborating directly with clients to develop Statements of Work (SOWs) and project quotes based on specific technical and logístical requirements. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate project scoping, cost estimation, and resource allocation for IT field service deployments across diverse technologies and geographic locations.
This individual serves as a bridge between clients, internal technical teams, and field resources—ensuring high-quality service delivery, accurate documentation, and exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Project Scoping
- Work directly with clients to define project requirements, build detailed SOWs, and develop accurate quotes.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to validate client requirements and ensure feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Provide clear communication on project scope, deliverables, timelines, and costs.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the quoting and execution process.

Project Estimation & Pricing
- Utilize quote tools, pricing templates, and vendor databases to develop competitive and accurate project estimates.
- Manage a high volume of project quotations across multiple service lines and client accounts.
- Identify appropriate Field Services technical resources based on skill set, certifications, and geographic requirements.
- Support multi-site project coordination across cities, states, and countries.
- Ensure all quotes and SOWs are documented, tracked, and delivered on time.

**Project Types May Include**:

- Basic onsite hardware and software troubleshooting (in collaboration with client technical support).
- Deployment or replacement of workstations, printers, and network hardware (firewalls, switches, access points).
- Asset inventory (hardware, workstations, telecom circuits, and other IT assets).
- Server replacement and refresh projects.
- DMARC extensions and infrastructure updates.
- Low-voltage copper cabling design and installation.
- Equipment packing, shipping, and relocation coordination.
- Circuit activation or cutover support (with client technical support).
- Starlink and external antenna installations.
- Wireless assessments, Wi-Fi heat mapping, and consulting.
- UCaaS and CCaaS deployment support.
- SD-WAN deployment for all providers.
- VOIP and POS equipment deployment (all providers).
- POS new store setups (equipment, APs, AV, cabling).
- AV room and equipment setup (video and audio systems, wiring, etc.).

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant IT project estimation, coordination, or field services experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience using Autotask or similar project management / ticketing platforms.
- Proficiency with quoting tools, pricing templates, and vendor management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cabling, and hardware deployment best practices.
- Experience managing multi-site projects across diverse geographic regions (domestic and international).

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Managed Service Provider (MSP) or IT Field Services environments.
- Familiarity with telecom, POS, or UCaaS/CCaaS system deployments.
- Technical certifications (CompTIA, Cisco, or equivalent) a plus.
