Summary:
A Data Services Consultant II supporting Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) implementations is an integral member of a dynamic team responsible for the high-quality launch of our Human Capital Management products. This individual is accountable for delivering top-quality SQL development and data consulting services to our customers in a fast-paced environment. This person is responsible for accurately converting data from customers’ source system(s) into UKG Pro People Center and UKG Pro Pay. Skills essential to this role are strong analysis, change control, consulting, organization, written and verbal communication. Functional and technical knowledge of HCM and Payroll systems is required. The ability to meet target dates is a must.
Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate and conduct a full and thorough data analysis and provide input to customers and others assigned to the implementation team on best practices for data management and data cleanup
- Interpret, validate, and convert data from source system(s) to target system including demographic data, taxation, benefits, payroll balances, additional tables, contacts, dependents, beneficiaries, and optional data including job history, status history, check detail history, platform configurable field data, and complex elements (e.g., system setup tables, employee pictures and documents)
- Utilize the expected data conversion tools, templates, and documentation to in compliance with approved data conversion methodology
- Proactively communicate with project team members and customers to keep them apprised of project status and ensure they are on track with assigned responsibilities and project timeline and effectively implement change-control
- Create required post conversion documents including Issues and Assumptions and Tax Verification
- Complete all project milestones within the timeline required
- Serve as an escalation point for resolving issues with converted data for assigned customers

(Education, Certification, License and Training)
- Experience working in project teams
- 1-3 years prior experience in SQL Database Programming (MS Transact SQL, relational databases)
- 1 year of data conversion or payroll industry experience
- Prior experience with Human Capital Management/Payroll software
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, Accounting or Math

Preferred Qualifications:

- UKG Pro People Center and UKG Pro Pay Product Knowledge or other Payroll/HR Systems
- Industry Certifications from APA (FPC and CPP) and SHRM (PHR, SPHR) a plus
- Prior consulting experience
- Prior knowledge or experience in payroll taxes and payroll tax reconciliation

- Customers, assigned implementation project team members including other technical consultants, project managers, system consultants, team leads, direct manager
