**Job Summary**
As the Managing Director for Brazil, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading a local operation and marketing team. Your deep-rooted local network and expertise will be instrumental in formulating and executing an unparalleled marketing strategy and operational plan as Bally's prepares for an exciting Sportsbook launch in this dynamic market.
You will work hand in hand with the Chief Operating Officer to strategize and implement a comprehensive commercial plan. Your proficiency in crafting and executing marketing strategies will be instrumental in positioning us as a top-tier operator. Additionally, your comprehensive Sportsbook knowledge will aid in curating a distinctive product offering that stands out in a competitive landscape.
In this capacity, you will be an integral part of the decision-making process, tasked with designing an organizational framework that ensures both exceptional people and operational performance, ultimately translating into outstanding commercial outcomes. Your success in this role will be defined by your ability to transform this nascent market into an established cornerstone of Bally's commercial portfolio.
We are seeking a resilient leader who can not only demonstrate their expertise but also foster collaboration across cross-border teams, all while adeptly navigating the intricacies of the Brazilian iGaming sector.
**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**
Pre-Launch
- **Identifying Sportsbook Launch Requirements**: You'll delve into the intricate details of the Sportsbook launch in Brazil, pinpointing the specific prerequisites for a successful launch. This includes assessment of features, functions, and services that are essential for not just a launch, but for the long-term success of the Brand.
- **Project Planning and Blueprint Creation**: Your role involves creating detailed project plans that outline each stage of the launch journey. This includes setting a timeline, defining budget parameters, and identifying the necessary resources to ensure a seamless market entry.
- **Organizational Setup and Team Building**: You'll orchestrate the setup of essential teams and individuals that form the backbone of the project's success. Through headcount planning and strategic recruitment, you'll assemble a dynamic workforce, working in tandem with the COO and HR to ensure the right support structure.
- **Project Progress Monitoring and Course Correction**: You are responsible for closely monitoring the project's progression. If potential risks or issues surface, you will proactively suggest corrective actions, steering the launch back on course and safeguarding its timeline and objectives.
Post Launch
- **Create and Execute Commercial Strategies**: Drawing on your expertise, you'll develop and put into action strategic plans designed to drive and accelerate growth across various aspects of the business. These strategies will involve cross-functional collaboration and innovation.
- **Accountability for Commercial Success**: The buck stops with you. You'll assume full accountability for the commercial success of the market, orchestrating strategies and initiatives that drive growth and deliver on targets.
- **Customer First**: As a customer advocate, you'll meticulously analyze customer preferences and requirements. Armed with this understanding, you'll guarantee that the products and services the company offers are not only relevant but also meet and exceed customer expectations.
- **Sportsbook Product Development and Positioning Input**: Your insights will directly impact the feature roadmap and positioning of the company's products. You'll contribute valuable feedback to ensure the company's offerings remain competitive and aligned with local market demands.
- **Study Industry Trends and Develop Business Plans**: Dive deep into the local market's currents to discern trends, emerging opportunities, and potential threats. With this insight, you'll craft comprehensive business plans that capitalize on commercial opportunities and ensure the company stays ahead.
- **Forge Partnerships with Stakeholders**: Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the business. These partnerships will be leveraged to accelerate the company's growth and market penetration.
