- Takes care of multiple software and hardware environments
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, in a very fast paced environment
- Ability with managing webservers, tomcat, JBOSS etc.
- Strong knowledge working on latest scripting languages - like Perl, Python, Shell scripting etc.
- Strong familiarity with common languages like C++, Java and database systems like Oracle, Informix
- Work closely with multiple internal groups, which include development, system owners, incident management, database engineers and others
- Attend daily operational CAB calls, as well as incident and operational calls as needed
- Participate in the rotational On Call phone support.

**Job Requirements**:

- Proven Linux maintenance experience
- Scripting and job automating
- Monitoring, alerting, hardware, network, and complexity understanding
- Java - basic understanding is a plus (no programming necessary)
- Basic knowledge and understanding of MQ. SQL Query Skills - basic Oracle or MYSQL
- AWS or GCP exposure

'Nice to have' skills:

- Certification with AWS/Google cloud technology
- Certification in Linux
- Familiarity with ITIL, change, problem and incident management processes.
