Job Title: Business Analyst - Advanced Data Insights

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team, bringing advanced data analysis skills and expertise in machine learning to drive business growth and optimize operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your knowledge of predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and time series forecasting to develop data-driven solutions that drive value for our clients.



Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:

  • Developing and Deploying Advanced Models: Utilize Python and R to create and deploy non-linear programming models, focusing on SKU pricing optimization to enhance business outcomes.
  • Forecasting and Time Series Analysis: Leverage hands-on experience in forecasting and time series analysis to productionalize code, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Simulations and Experiments: Run simulations and experiments on existing models to understand pricing elasticity and refine forecasting strategies.
  • Data Integration and Preparation: Manage data integration and prepare complex datasets for analytics tools to support customer acquisition strategies and operational efficiency.
  • Project Planning and Management: Establish project plans with key milestones, timelines, risk contingencies, and defined ownership to ensure project success.
  • Data Pipeline Development: Utilize SQL, Spark, and cloud technologies to build and maintain robust data pipelines that support end-to-end analytical solutions.
  • Data Quality and Integration: Support data quality, cleaning, and integration on an advanced data science platform, identifying data issues, and providing statistical insights for client decision-making.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced Data Science Experience: 3+ years of experience in advanced data science, specializing in predictive modeling, statistical analysis, machine learning, and time series forecasting.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python and R, particularly with non-linear programming applications for elasticity and pricing optimization.
  • Machine Learning and Forecasting: Practical experience in machine learning, forecasting, deep learning, and optimization, including model deployment in production environments.
  • SQL and Database Management: Strong SQL skills and familiarity with relational databases.
  • Cloud Technologies: Experience in Spark, working with data frames in PySpark or Scala, and cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google).
  • Cloud Tools and Databricks: Exposure to cloud tools like Databricks and Vertex AI, ideal for model development and deployment, with a focus on streamlining processes for efficiency.
