Semi Senior Direct Procurement Specialist

Main Objective of the Position:

The Semi Senior Direct Procurement Specialist is the single point of contact for the Americas region, responsible for ensuring the supply of raw materials or packaging, working in collaboration with category buyers and the finance team to ensure process efficiency.

Main Tasks:

  • Ensure the supply of raw materials or packaging according to the global Purchase to Pay process for the Americas region.
  • Support internal business partners in creating, tracking, and confirming purchase orders, ensuring they are sent to suppliers through the correct channels.
  • Ensure frequent review and maintenance of the portfolio with category buyers.
  • Create, maintain, and monitor agreements under their responsibility in collaboration with category buyers, ensuring accurate commercial terms (such as incoterms, prices, and others).
  • Work as a team with the assigned finance person for the same business or process to ensure an efficient and smooth end-to-end process, focusing on key indicators to guarantee timely deliveries and payments.
  • Identify training needs, identify areas for improvement, and conduct workshops.
  • Single point of contact for relevant stakeholders for all topics related to Purchase to Pay.

Minimum Education and Qualification Requirements for the Position:

  • Education | University Degree in Administration, Finance, Foreign Trade, or similar.
  • Work Experience | 3-5 years of previous experience in similar positions or roles with focus in service delivery.
  • Languages | Advanced level of English proficiency in both oral and written communication. Valuable Portuguese.
  • Technical Skills | Desirable knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems, as well as proficiency in MS Office, particularly Advanced Excel.
  • Soft Skills | Customer focus, effective communication & drive innovation.
