Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Valuation Specialist to assist our appraisers with valuation assignments, research local real estate markets, and review inspection reports. The ideal candidate will have excellent English communication skills, experience in real estate appraisals or banking, and a strong understanding of commercial and residential properties.
Key Responsibilities- Research local real estate markets and identify sales and rental data
- Assist appraisers with aspects of completing valuation assignments
- Review inspection reports to ensure quality and accuracy
- Manage workflow and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Develop internal valuations of small to medium-sized businesses
- Assist analysts with aspects of completing valuation assignments
- Other projects and duties as assigned
- Excellent English communication skills
- Experience in real estate appraisals or banking
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 10 years experience in an applicable risk management or valuation environment
- Registered and Sworn Valuer for at least 10 years
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Teams
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Proactive approach and strong work ethic
- Excellent attention to detail
