Business Development Representative

**Company Overview**
Marco is a Fintech firm focused on financing underserved SME exporters in Latin America. Born out of the Antler Accelerator in New York, Marco has raised over $16MM in Equity from distinguished investors and has a $100MM credit facility. Given the profitable lending business model and an underserved market, Marco is looking to scale rapidly. This role will have high impact potential within the Marco team.
Marco is looking for high-energy, driven professionals with sound business insight and natural sales instincts to join, and help build, our Sales Development organization. You will lay the foundation of sales efforts through identifying and prospecting into companies that would benefit from Marco’s services. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be the tip of the spear for growth at Marco.
**Requirements**:
- Follow up / follow through on inbound inquiries and those generated by various marketing activities
- Discover and qualify new leads
- Ask questions to prospects to identify key business issue needs, positive business outcomes, minimum required capabilities, metrics and to understand each prospect’s buying process
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to identify lead generation strategy
- Articulate effectively, the value of our software offerings and unique differentiators
- Collaborate with Marketing to execute integrated outbound sales and marketing campaigns
- Follow consultative selling approach to link a prospect’s needs with the proper solutions
- Collaborate with Marketing to execute integrated internal sales and marketing campaigns to educate Accenture client teams and link their clients’ needs with the proper solutions
- Meet and/or exceed individual and/or team solution and services revenue opportunity targets
- Learn and maintain basic knowledge of products and services, the industry and industry trends, and our competition
**What you need**:
- 1+ years in a qualifying or prospecting role is required
- 1+ years of experience with project management
- Critical thinking and strong decision-making abilities
- Bachelor’s degree
**Bonus Points**:

- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Strong phone presence
- Ability to virtually build and foster relationships
- Self-motivated, results / goal driven
