The UNESCO Office in Montevideo seeks a highly skilled Administrative Coordinator to support the organization's activities in the region. This role will provide administrative assistance to the team, ensuring the smooth execution of programs and projects.

Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the team, including preparing documents, managing correspondence, and maintaining databases.
- Organize official meetings, events, and workshops, ensuring efficient logistical arrangements.
- Receive, analyze, and distribute correspondence and documents, updating distribution lists as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of presentation materials using appropriate technology and software.
- Completed secondary, technical, or vocational education.
- A minimum of three years of relevant work experience in administrative support and/or related areas.
- Excellent skills in drafting correspondence, accurate typing, and attention to detail.
- Discretion and cooperative behavior, with strong service orientation and ability to deal efficiently with counterparts at different levels.
- Excellent knowledge of IT skills, with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Excellent knowledge of English and good knowledge of Spanish.
- Similar experience working with diverse organizations in the region and in an international environment preferably a United Nation agency.
- Relevant experience in the field of administrative and secretarial support.
UNESCO offers a competitive salary package, including 30 days annual leave, family allowance, medical insurance, and pension plan. The approximate annual starting salary for this post is $1,837,549 Peso Uruguayo.
