Regional Sales Manager Latam

The Regional Sales Manager Latam is based in Uruguay and is responsible for the planning, direction and coordination of the sales and marketing effective strategies of the company to consolidate and gain market share in the Latam region (excluding Argentina).
The position is responsible for developing client relationships in line with global policies and together with the MD of the Latam region and the CCO.
As a Regional Sales Manager for Latam, you will be responsible to provide commercial leadership within the region for the export activities.
the commercial solutions development, managing directly key customers relationship based on trust, focusing on long term view for the company.
Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
Develop and ensure execution of Commercial exports strategy in LATAM (excluding Argentina).
Lead key customers relationships, focusing on commercial solutions.
Build / Lead / Maintain commercial team in the region.
Analyze market trends, economic and politic environment.
Responsible for ongoing business development and implementation by researching and understanding target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and market strategies that can be used to attract and maintain customers.
Negotiate and strong commercial acumen for LTAs and spot businesses.Lead Craft and specialty business in Latam (excluding Argentina). Follow up and support account receivables and credits.
Support Risk management strategy.
Support Planning and Supply chain with insights and future perspectives.
Responsible for defining and executing the procurement strategy of the business, with validation of the leadership team
Designs the sales plan, forecast and budget based on the applicable Group policies
Responsible for the marketing area, participating in the management of sales promotion campaigns, incentives etc
High-level of interpersonal sensitivity is required, and the ability to effectively communicate and
work with others of diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
Travel frequently internationally for regular customer facing meetings
Qualifications and Experience:
University degree with orientation to business administration, economy, marketing or sales.
Strong Negotiation skills. Ability to work with multicultural and multifunctional
Minimum 7 years experience in Sales / Commercial management.
Minimum 3 years experience in Global Agricultural Markets (economic and international trade perspective) & commodities risk management.
Minimum 5 years experience in a position with supervisory responsibility.
Fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
Comfortable using O365 tools (excel, Sharepoint, MS Teams, One Note,...)
