Job Summary:

The Engineering Project Manager will play a key role in leading cross-functional teams to develop and execute complex engineering projects from conception to delivery.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of projects
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Manage project risks, issues, and changes to ensure project success
  • Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including project sponsors, customers, and team members
  • Provide coaching and guidance to project team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver project results
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing, to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Manage project budgets and financials to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement in project delivery


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on engineering projects
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, as required


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Master's degree in Engineering or related technical field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience working in a regulated industry, such as medical devices or pharmaceuticals
  • Knowledge of current FDA, ISO, and other related quality and regulatory system requirements
  • Experience with product and process development engineering principles
